Content Objective: Using Photoshop elements, I will create a CD cover and label for _____?______ (I get to choose). My finished CD cover/label should have the appearance of a commercially produced product. I will apply design principles to my work.
- Apply the Principles of Design. How can I arrange the elements on my page in a way that will create things like balance, unity, rhythm, pattern, movement, and emphasis (principles of design)?
- Apply Text Style, Treatment, and Position.
- Demonstrate effective use of the tools in Adobe Photoshop Elements.
- The CD cover/label is your original idea and design. You may use 1 or 2 small images from the Internet to complement your design, but your main idea should come from you. Use Photoshop to create backgrounds and apply filters and effects (such as blur & opacity).
- Your CD cover is designed for an 4.75 x 4.75” design space. Your resolution should be 300. Use the CD Label template provided below.
- You will explain how you used at least 2 elements/principles of design. You will also explain how you used type style, treatment, and position in your CD cover/label. Include this information in the form provided below. Also, provide the website of any images you used in this document.
- The final product has the look of a professionally and commercially produced design.
